If you need assistance, we can help. We recognize English may not be your primary language but we are still able to provide assistance.

We serve the Halifax West area (generally Fairview, Clayton Park, and surrounding areas). Come see us at our location at 50 Gesner Street at the top of Fairview in Halifax. We are in the Salvation Army building. Read the information below in order for us to be of assistance.

Alternatively, if you are located outside Halifax West, please click on the Feed Nova Scotia or 211 links below to find a food provider nearby and register for assistance:

1. We operate on Tuesdays. Appointments must be arranged by calling 902-443-1776 between 8:00AM to 11:00AM to get a number and time for food distribution (to be between 11:45AM and 2:00PM).

2. Please bring proof of address as well as identification (health cards or other ID) for each member of the family with you.

3. If able, it is suggested you bring along at least 4 bags with you. 

4. We will take your information and begin a file for you.

5. You can come to the food bank once a month, and you will receive 3 to 5 days of food per person in your household.
